Welcome to the Archers for Autism Archery Club

All proceeds are used to purchase equipment and pay fees so that our young shooters can continue to participate in the program!  Thank you!

The Archers for Autism archery program is a community orientated organization that introduces children with Autism and their families to archery.  We are a special focus archery club that allows for children with Autism to participate in a sport that fosters confidence, social interaction, problem solving and team work.  Currently there are not many archery clubs that have a specific focus on Autism and how the skill sets learned in this sport can have positive results on the children and their families!  We plan on participating in the following activities:

  • Archery Practices
  • Tournaments
  • Community Autism Awareness events
  • Club fundraising events
  • Special Olympic event participation

Currently there is no club membership fee and no minimal skill or equipment required to start!  In the future once donations are exhausted, there may be a small fee to help cover the cost of range fees.  This fee is very small comparative to the cost of other sports.

Parents are however encouraged to consider purchasing their child's own archery equipment at a later date.  All club equipment will remain property of the club and rotated amongst shooters during weekly practices.

The Archers for Autism Archery Club utilizes Genesis Bows, Easton Arrows and forearm guards.
